Wow. Have you ever tried to rebuild a house? Daunting. Have you ever tried to do it with two small kiddos? Now things are getting interesting!

Grandpa Holmes and Grandma Selden Go to Washington

After living on the east coast on and off for over 10 years, and actually being outside of the west coast for 7 of those 10 years, Grandpa Holmes and Grandma Selden made their way eastward, and came to visit us in DC.

It was great to have them here when we did. The weather was fabulous, it was great to see them, and they (as far as we know) had a great time meeing Dilly and playing with Iggy. Good times to be had all around!

While they were here we danced in our boogie monster outfit!

Doing the boogie in our boogie leggings!

Rock on little girl!

we went for walks along tree lined avenues with the Two, who was so happy to see Grandpa Holmes and Grandma Selden, so they could all talk dog.

Imogen fired old naval cannons to alert tresspassers that she's not f&*king around.

SNIPER!

We toured te Naval Acadamy and saw the beautiful grounds. It was quite an event, especially since we were traveling with an old navy man, Grandpa Holmes.

Dilly blew up a diaper, and had to be changed "on the fly". Thankfully Jed had the knowledge and combat training to deal with the situation. Code Red averted.

We had a wonderful dinner at Pusser's (yeah, as in Pusser's rum) in Annapolis. Needless to say the traditional "Pusser's Painkiller" was in full effect.

Iggy took a little break from the action and had a snack on the pier.

And Jed and Tiffany enjoyed being out and about in the greater DC area, as always, but were so happy to have Grandma Selden and Grandpa Holmes in tow, it was really fabulous to see them, we miss them alot!
