Wow. Have you ever tried to rebuild a house? Daunting. Have you ever tried to do it with two small kiddos? Now things are getting interesting!

Christmas Misc.

We just uploaded a few more pictures that we thought warranted a posting on the blog.

Union Station for the holidays.

Iggy meets Santa for the first time...and she seemed to be alright with the ol' man.

The aunts and uncle wanted to join in in all the holiday fun.

Rachel, Jed, and Imogen sporting their UC Santa Cruz gear. Great slug slippers, Iggy. Love the Grateful Dead slug, Jed. Thanks, Rach for the great gifts!!!

New Albums of Pictures on the Internet!

Ok, so we are going to test this out. We have set up a mobile me gallery so that we can put more pictures up on than we publish on the blog. As time goes on, we'll start to delineate the albums a little more fully, but here we go. Either click on this Here

or simply type in this web address and check out our picks - gallery.me.com/Jed.Bodger

White Christmas

We celebrated our first Christmas as a family this year in Washington, D.C. Santa as well as family and friends were very generous to the little one. To make our day a little brighter, we were able to share the morning with Uncle Ryan and lucky enough to have a white Christmas. It was definitely a great day.

To start off our day, Iggy serenaded us on Christmas Eve. Check out the attached video below.

Tiffany and Iggy got comfy before opening Santa's gifts

Imogen had a cutie-pie Christmas outfit highlighting Santa's involvement

Tiffany helped the Two open her presents (poor two in that hat! Such a good dog!)

Two was finally able to enjoy some elf-hat-less time to devour her rawhide candy cane. (note the only thing left of the cane is the red twine.) Good work, Two.

Jed got a Ducks t-shirt for the rose bowl, the granddaddy of them all!

Jed sporting some Duck gear and Christmas p.j.'s while talking to his dad. Looking good.

Speaking of holiday pajamas, Santa's helper misread the label of the holiday pajamas when out shopping and when returning them could not find the proper size, so we improvised with the holiday pants. The little stocking actually came in handy as it perfectly holds Ryan's cell phone. Oh, snap.

Ry getting in on the stocking fun.

Imogen got a book about breasts, which tiffany loved!

Two kept Iggy company when she slept off the excitement

Mom and Imogen sharing a little moment by the tree after all the presents were opened!

Snow before Christmas

We had almost 2 feet of snow the week before Christmas, which caused D.C. to basically shut down, and gave us a white Christmas for Imogen, as well as giving the Two something to romp around in!

Iggy Update

The Iggmeister is now just over a month old. To track her first year, we thought it would be fun to take a picture of the kid in front of various monuments every month. Here's the first installment: Iggy and the Capitol on December 14th.

Imogen has grown and changed so much in the first month. Here are some photos for your viewing pleasure:

(One of my favorite, I call it technicolor Iggy).
(She's going to be a thinker...and a sleeper)

The requisite sleeping photos.

(Despite her expression, Imogen loves her pants. Thanks Sarah!)

(Not to be overdone, Two decided to sport a fantastic look, as well).

First Thanksgiving Photo:

Uncle Ry loves to have a little fun with Iggy:

We headed to Lincoln Park last week to see the live nativity scene, complete with donkeys, goats, lambs, and a llama.

(She sports the bear bunting very well. Thanks Helen)!

And Iggy makes three:

Great Uncle Bobby and Great Grandma Lundberg's Visit

Iggy was lucky enough to meet her great uncle and great grandma soon after she arrived.

Thanks so much for coming down for a visit!!!

Aunt Rachel and Aunt Bean Visit

Imogen was lucky enough to have both Aunt Rachel and Aunt Bean to come out and visit at the same time, and it was tons of fun.

We took Iggs to her first holiday party where the aunts and uncle had a whole lotta fun, and Jed even got into the mix, serving as the bartender at some point in the night. We visited the White House Christmas Tree where Imogen had her first meeting with Santa. (photo hopefully to follow). The aunts also helped us finish lingering projects liking painting our bathroom and hanging curtains in the bedrooms. Phew, glad to be done with those "to dos" and to have had them out for a visit. Iggy already misses them (and so do we)!

(Great party Bruce and Allison!!)

(Aunt Bean loved to sing and dance Iggy to sleep)
